When a website gets big enough, sometimes there isn't enough time to do everything yourself. Sometimes things get too big and you fall behind. This website, which I started back in 2012, began as a personal hobby to write down my opinions on movies. What I was writing started out as utter crap and only I have copies of what I've written, but over the years, I've improved, and it's gone from a hobby to something else. This hobby of mine has given me some amazing opportunities, most recently allowing me to sit down and interview Quentin Tarantino (here).

Today, I am here to present my biggest announcement yet. No, I'm not deleting my old reviews again. No, I'm not quitting. I am, however, hiring two new writers. Yep, Director's Cut Movies is getting an expansion. They're talented people with a passion for film and I am certain that they'll fit right in. You'll love reading what they've got to say. I've already seen a sample of what they've done and trust me, they're good. It gives me great pleasure to introduce these two talented friends of mine and so without further to do, here they are:

Hello, my name is Chris Campo. I'm an aspiring filmmaker, film buff and super-nerd. I've also made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. My lifestyle has been dominated by film for as long as I can remember. It's had a huge impact on my life, and its influence has only grown over time and will only continue to grow as I age. My goal in life is to write and direct my very own film. My goal here is to entertain both you, and myself with fun articles and the occasional film review here and there! See you real soon!

Howdy, I’m Liam. I love to make films and, of course, I love to watch films. Cinema has always been my favourite thing in the world and I worship at the idol of Steven Spielberg…I thought you should know that. I’ll be writing some articles and occasionally offering my two cents on some of the films coming out today!

So, there you have it. There are the two new writers for Director's Cut Movies. The two will be kicking it off later today with an article each, so stay tuned for those. From here on out, every review and article will be tagged with the author's name, such as this one. If you come across a post without an author written on it, that must mean it was published before this announcement, and therefore I, Jack Dignan, am the writer. I have complete faith in these writers and I'm sure they'll help bring consistent and well written content to this website as I am very proud of it.

As for me, I will continue to write my reviews, as well as the occasional article. The last month has been podcast-free, but they will be starting up again very shortly, so stay tuned for those. I've just been having a break from podcasting over the holidays, but they will return shortly. Also stay tuned for plenty of new reviews and exclusives as 2016 is going to be a big year for film, and now that we've gotten more writers, there won't be a single thing we'll miss out on. Thanks for being a fan and have a great weekend.
