Don't forget to join in on the month long celebration of horror with #ScaryMovieMonthAtDCM
Get out your chocolate with sprinkles because after three podcastless weeks, one is finally here. Sorry. I'm really inconsistent with my uploads. But anyway, in this week's podcast I discuss Crimson Peak, Knock Knock, The Omen, the new Marvel lineup and I address what the hell is going on with #ScaryMovieMonthAtDCM this year. So yeah, time to get your monster mash on because I've got a whole lot of horror to discuss.
After a day of failed uploads yesterday, the final pre-#ScaryMovieMonthAtDCM podcast is here and it's got just about everything you can ask for when listening to a podcast...... talking. After the super short podcast two weeks ago, get thy loins ready for another 19 minute one. Try not to let the hype kill you. That would be most unfortunate. But anyway, in this week's podcast I discuss The Intern, Sicario, the new Bond theme song, Pan, Ghostbusters, Mean Girls and A LOT more. Seriously, I talk about a lot of things in this podcast. Listen. Listen now. Go on. I'll just wait here.
You've listened to 15 minutes podcasts.... You've listened to 18 minutes podcasts.... You've listened to 20+ minute podcasts.... Now, nothing can prepare you for..... AN ELEVEN MINUTE PODCAST! Yep, a solid 11 and a half minutes of actual talking. Don't be fooled by its official 12 minute runtime. That is but a trick. But yes, in this ultra-short podcast I discuss The Scorch Trails, King Kong Vs Godzilla, Wes Craven, American Ultra and a couple of other things, but not enough to make me say A LOT more. Oh well.
And on a side note, raise the hype as a second podcast series is currently in the works, co-hosted by me and literally the only other person to ever cameo in one of my podcasts. You work out who. Get ready to feel the burn...... or don't. It's not that hot. We only pre-heated it for a solid twenty minutes or so. It should be fine to eat, so long as you don't spill any on your new jacket. Now THAT would be a tragedy.
So my website turned 3 today. Yep, exactly 3 years ago today I published that review of The Dark Knight Rises. Sure, the review is god-awful and is no longer on this site, but it was at one point here and that's what matters. To celebrate my birthday, I did all I know how to do.... I theorised about the upcoming Star Wars movie. Oh, and there's also a little tease of what to expect from this year's #ScaryMovieMonthAtDCM. It's never too early to get the hype up. Enjoy, and I look forward to yet another year of film! Especially since this time next year I will own Star Wars The Force Awakens on blu-ray. Goddamn, that's one inspiring sentence to write.
Happy Tuesday! Is this the first time I've uploaded a podcast on a Tuesday? Probably. But hey, at least I have audible proof that I recorded it on a Monday. Does that mean anything? No? Alrighty. Well, in this week's podcast I discuss The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Fantastic Four, Dope, D23 and A LOT more, all before I end the podcast super abruptly. You have been warned.
It's the week of spies over here at Director's Cut Movies. You better get in quick as well because this podcast will self destruct in t-minus 5 seconds. Quick! Go! Listen! Why aren't you listening yet? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?! I TOLD YOU TO LISTEN! GODDAMN IT, GARY! IT'S GOING TO EX- BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Happy Comic-Con, everybody. Hope you all enjoyed those mighty fine trailers and panels. I sure as hell did, and in this week's podcast I discuss just that. Also discussed is It Follows, Ant-Man, Insidious Chapter 3 and A LOT more. It truly is a wonderful time of the year. Make sure to come back soon as we get closer and closer to approaching the one year anniversary of the Director's Cut Movies Podcasts.
Just when you thought yet another weekend had passed without a Director's Cut Movies Podcast, I have come to show you the light. In this week's podcast I discuss all 5 Terminator movies, Creed, Stargate, Fantastic Four and A LOT more. I don't even want to try and tell you when to come back for more podcasts, but I honestly hope it's soon. So yeah, enjoy. And I'll see you eventually.
I embraced multiple emotions during this week's podcast, although I can assure you it was a complete accident and had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I spend the first five minutes discussing Inside Out. I'm not even kidding. I didn't mean to do this. But anyway, in this week's podcast I also discuss Minions, the best January released movies, The Secret Lives of Pets and A LOT more. Oh, make sure to come back next week (or perhaps the week after. Who knows?) to hear the long-delayed, but definitely finally happening three way podcast that was announced a few months back. It'll be worth it.
Before you listen to a podcast 65 million years in the making, I must make two formal apologies. The first is for not having a podcast up last week, but you probably couldn't care less about that, and the second is for my intro this week. As I'm sure you'll notice, there's a massive gap between movie quotes. My computer hates me. The internet hates me. I can't fix it. But yes, now you can go forth and listen to my voice, in which I discuss Jurassic World, Aloha, Inside Out and literally every other Pixar film made so far, on top of A LOT of other films. Enjoy. Hopefully.
